Information about the injuries incurred
Broken shoulder (first apparent some days later)
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
There was no armour or weapon involved. Here the fighter's mail to me:
"Due only to falling wrong during dirty tricks tourney. Fell faster that recomended when dieing and fell full wieght on right shoulder. No fault to any one or equipment, but my self - lol. Broke coller bone as well as shoulder pointer bone. 2 weeks in a sling and then a follow up appointment no perminant damage noted. Just a little more structure battle damage on this old war machine."
Training level of the persons involved
Authorised fighter, may years experience.
Conditions at the site
Good.
Preventions suggestions?
Practice falling? Parachute method (not judo method / tai chi method) suggested.
This report comes late as the injury was not apparent for some days (Hans dropped out of the tourney after a while, claiming a bruised shoulder. Only some days later did he notice that it was serious and sought medical aid.) I thus was only informed retrospectively.

Information about the injuries incurred
Twisted Knee
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
Heavy combat armor
Training level of the persons involved
Authorized fighter
Conditions at the site
Uneven ground
Preventions suggestions?
Fight on better ground

Information about the injuries incurred
Neck and back muscle strain, possible concussion
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
helm that attached to bevor that attached to breatplate (may have prevented the injury from being worse).
Training level of the persons involved
Auth Fighter
Conditions at the site
Bad footing, good weather
Preventions suggestions?
Not sure what the real cause was. The injured party says he was fighting a person and got face-thrust very hard from the other side. Other accounts (including my own) make this situation impossible. Several people say the shot and say it seemed OK and that the injured party appeared to hurt himself when he fell.

Information about the injuries incurred
possible concussion, dissiness
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
Heavy comabat armor
Training level of the persons involved
Unknown
Conditions at the site
Bad footing, good weather
Preventions suggestions?
Apparently the injured party says the cause was a sword blow to the back of the head. Unknown if this is poor padding in helmet, hard shot or other circumstances.

Information about the injuries incurred
broken finger
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
The injured party dropped his basket hilted sword during a practice run leaving his fingers exposed as his opponent's blow was coming in. The injured party was wearing a leather demi-gauntlet. The blow broke the middle finger of his left hand.
Training level of the persons involved
The fighter is an intermediate fighter as well as a marshall.
Conditions at the site
Nothing in the environment could have contributed to the injury
Preventions suggestions?
I believe the accident was a freak mishap that may not have been preventable. If the incoming blow was not simultaneous I doubt the injury would have happened.

Information about the injuries incurred
Broken bone in his hand.
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
Greatweapon Torney.
Richard lose his grip on his Polearm and made the parry with his open hand. The shot was made with an 5 foot axe.
Training level of the persons involved
The reciver has been fighting for 4 years and the one who made the shot 12 years(squire).
Conditions at the site
Perfect weather and footing. Unlimited res. fighting, but it happend in the begining when everybody was fresh.
Preventions suggestions?
I'd say it was pure accident.

Information about the injuries incurred
damage to the front of shoulder and pulled tendons in the left thumbs as well as soft tissue damage to the web of the hand
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
The injury occured during the single weapon tourney. I am not sure as to when the blow was thrown or struck. but it was of ksuch force as to break the duct tape that was holding the quillion in place on the single sword and to drive into my hand. after replacing the tape and using a screw to hold the quillion in place I returned to the list field to contuniue the days fighting. the injury didn't become apparnet until several hours later when the left hand experienced a short paralysis. both hands were sufficiently protected by steel full gauntlets. went to see the doctor on the monday following the event and was given medications and limitations of duty for 14 days.
Training level of the persons involved
experienced fighter and marshal
Conditions at the site
good weather and adequate footing. happened midway through the tourney near to the end of the fighting.
Preventions suggestions?
better inspection of quillion attachments by the marshal. though this was my own waepon I should have used wood screws from the begining to fasten the quillions

Information about the injuries incurred
knee injrued while rising from sitting position
Description of the equipment used (armor, weapons, etc.):
She was sitting down in the ressurection area before the first battle had started, fully armoured. While getting up, her leg folded and her collateral legaments moved out of their positions. Furthermore she twisted her ankle in the process.

She was immediately checked by the chiurgeons on site. A dedicated driver took her to the nearest hospital where they x-rayed her. The leg had no bigger problem than the extended legaments. Of course she couldn't walk without aid because of the pain. She returned to the site at the end of the feast.

Training level of the persons involved
She has fought for approximaetly a year.
Conditions at the site
The ressurection area was located on fine even ground. Some of the terrain out in the woods were a bit risky to fight in, but this was a pure accident not caused by bad terrain. No rain, warm sunny day and overall good grip for the boots.
Preventions suggestions?
In my opinion, nothing. The only thing that makes this accident fighter related is the fact that it occured just before the war, and with a person wearing armour. Sometimes things like this will happen, and although it isn't fun we will have to accept it.
